XPS M1210's LCD display

I thought to write this and that on XPS M1210/Inspiron 740M. Starting first with its LCD display.

Too bad there is no option for buyers too purchase XPS M1210 with non-truelife. The TrueLife in M1210 didn't bother me but I'm pretty sure that a non-truelife is better for some users who prefer no reflections. The LCD display that I received don't have dead pixel, no light leakage. It is made by AUO (Taiwan). I find the best angle to view this LCD and that is to push back the notebook a bit. Note that the 2 speakers in XPS M1210 is in the LCD. I don't like the location of speakers. I prefer to have the speakers in the front-base of the notebook but I understand that Dell want new look and maybe because the notebook is small. Here's some pictures I took on its LCD display... the first two is while watching movie: Inside Man. The other images is taken with different viewing angle during night and day.

The next blog entry is about XPS M1210's sound system. I'll try to record how it play and I'll upload it here for us to view it online. If I can't do that soon... later :-)
